Why did korilla go home

Personally, I have a problem with a lack of integrity. I thought that when the two Korilla guys were walking back to their car they were talking about the third member on their crew, the one with the glasses. Could be, but two of us watching thought they were referring to being called out by Tyler. Either way, they cheated, got caught and made themselves look bad. Food Network has complete control over the editing of the show. You have no idea if they really apologized, defended themselves, or fought back in any way.

Christ, this planet is dumb. I agree with you that Food Network has complete control over the editing. But then again, It could be because of the contract they signed with Food Network.

I am well aware of how reality TV editing works. I just find it hard to believe that they completely editing out the Korilla guys saying anything at all but maybe they were looking into the future and seeing how the editor and producers were going to make them look bad by cutting out their apology. If anything, it would have been good TV to see them either a apologize or b confront the other guy but could only one of them have done something like that without the other two knowing?

I guess your summation is correct. Yes thank you this planet is dumb. People should realized that a realitly t. Also in most entertaiment contracts it mostly states that the company is allowed to do what ever with their brand name… So people on this planet are ignormate to what the t.

The 2 guys walking back were definitely talking about the 3rd member of their team. And if you understand Korean you get the subtext. If it were the 3 guy who they were talking about and cheated then why is he still on their home page? Thanks for the awesome burritos guys!! Josh McTimber…. Cheating is wrong, no matter what!!

I would never eat from the Korilla truck now! If they can foolishly and carelessly cheat on tv, who knows how they cheat with their food. It could be doctored garbage. I am all about ethics and integrity. Clearly Korilla has none. Incidently, I happen to be half Korean. How stupid!!! Cheating is wrong no matter who or where you are from, or where the event is.

National humiliation is good for them. You got it right Grace. And how would they have set this up anyhow — leave a bundle of hundred dollar bills anonymously in front of the Korilla truck and hope they pick it up and put it in their daily take? Korilla is going to have to endure more shame and disappointment from their families and the Korean community than any of us can express in this little forum. Apparently we gave them all too much credit as young, smart, up and coming businessmen.

I doubt it. In this challenge, they were aware that they were doing badly, but apparently not aware of how badly everyone else had done, too. Their reaction on the show makes sense if you think about how this must have gone down. There must have been a meeting with the FN execs, Tyler, and the guys from Korilla. For some reason my son loved the show last season at 5 years old and he is a huge fan for Korilla because they are Korean and hes been taking TKD. We only got to watch the first half last night and he wants to watch it after school today.

Even worse he woke up saying he had a good dream where Korilla won the whole show. For all we know, they argued and defended themselves before leaving. Then we can decide who to believe. They are all hand written by them anyway.

The whole set up seemed funny to me. Here are the relevant parts of the episode, according to Reality TV Magazine. They struggle for the first time in the competition…Tyler [the host] calls the teams to tell them they must switch to solely vegetarian menus… Korilla makes a call for a tofu delivery. Korilla allegedly did something very naughty. Tipsters have reported that they deposited their own money into the cash box, making it look like they sold more tacos giving them higher profits than they actually did.

In the climactic final minutes of the show, Tyler exposed them as cheaters and disqualified them from the competition. Korilla, we may be disappointed, but you still serve delicious tacos—what a moral quandary.

Korilla… such a let down and all for nothing. I will never eat from a bunch of cheats for a silly game show on FoodTV. I just think that the whole situation seems fishy. Anonymous Kinda felt like the vegetarian challenge was a bit unfair.

Steve As a martial artist, I have the greatest respect and admiration for the Korean people and culture. I know how poorly these bums will be received in their community for cheating. And to think I was rooting for these guys to win it!

There is no quandry here, in my book it is immoral to cheat. Cheating has nothing to do with quality food obviously. I hope these clowns learned a lesson here.
